  1. WELCOME TO THE ANIMAZING SCREEN SAVER COLLECTION !

  4. Bigzip #2 contains 8 of the liveliest savers you've ever seen, plus the
  5. famous 'Animazing Randomizer', a simple utility which allows you to get
  6. a different saver everytime, chosen at random from all the .SCR files in
  7. your Windows directory.
  8.  
  9. To use any Animazing Screen Saver Module, you will require :
  10.  
  11.     Minimum 386 PC Compatible with 2 Mb RAM
  12.     MS Windows 3.1 or higher
  13.     VBRUN300.DLL
  14.  
  15. Bigzip #2 contains:-

  18.     AUTUMN.SCR
  19.     CHAINSAW.SCR
  20.     COSMIC.SCR
  21.     LURGI.SCR
  22.     PSYCHED.SCR

  25. and of course, the Randomizer, ANIMAZE.SCR plus it's associated setup program,
  26. ANIMAZE.EXE

  28. To Install any of these modules, copy  the '.SCR' (and ANIMAZE.EXE) files you
  29. have unzipped into your WINDOWS directory. 
  30. If you are unsure where this directory is, go looking for other files that 
  31. end in ".SCR".

  33. Once you have moved the files to your Windows directory, you will 
  34. be able to setup and test the modules from within Control Panel (click the
  35. Desktop icon). Alternatively, use the Animazing Randomizer (ANIMAZE.EXE)
  36. to setup the modules you like best.

  39. HOW TO TELL WINDOWS YOU WANT TO USE AN ANIMAZING MODULE AS YOUR SAVER

  41. Each module is fully functional, with the sole exception that if you 
  42. are unregistered, you can  *** NOT *** configure the module as a screen 
  43. saver. You can customize it and test it out to your heart's content, but
  44. it will not automatically run if you select it as your default saver.
  45. Instead it will display the setup screen for that module.
  46.  
  47. Registration currently costs $25 (for CompuServe members). 
  48. If you register, you will receive a personalised ID code which enables all 
  49. Animazing modules (even future releases!).
  50. A single one time registration entitles you to use ANY/ALL of the Animazing 
  51. modules as they become available. There are already many modules 
  52. shipping, including EXTERMINATED, TAGS'R'US, NUKEM' HIGH, RIBBIT, FIRES!,
  53. COSMIC, XMAS94, SCREEN LURGI, MOO!, TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE, CLOUDS etc, 
  54. and new modules are added to the collection all the time!
  55. Your $25 is potentially giving you access to an unlimited number 
  56. of wild savers...and where else are you going to find this level of
  57. bad taste?!!

  59. Pressing the 'Registration Details' button on any module will open a 
  60. simple dialog box allowing you to complete the registration process by 
  61. typing in your personal ID code.

  64. REGISTRATION
  65.  
  66. The easiest way to register is to GO SWREG on Compuserve. The 
  67. registration ID of the Animazing Screen Saver Collection is 3397. 
  68. You will usually receive your personal ID code by e-mail within one 
  69. working day. Alternatively, contact ANIMAZING on (UK) 0171 792 4061, 
  70. fax to (UK) 0171 792 1518, or leave a message on Compuserve to 
  71. user 100413,3204.

  73. New modules appear first on CompuServe, followed by good Shareware
  74. houses, Magazine cover disks and selected sites on the Internet.

  77. FINDING ANIMAZING MODULES
  78.  
  79. The first 14 modules (the latest versions!) are available in a file 
  80. called BIG ZIP #1, in the screen saver section of the WINAV forum. 
  81. To locate Animazing modules, go searching for contributions from 
  82. author ID 100413,3204. 
  83. New modules are uploaded just as soon as they pass testing, usually 
  84. as files beginning ANIMAZEXXX, e.g ANIMAZE001 or ANIMAZE012. When we have 
  85. a reasonable number of new ones, we'll upload them for convenience as 
  86. BIG ZIP files.

  91. THE ANIMAZING RANDOMIZER
  92.  
  93. This is a simple utility which allows you to tell Windows which
  94. screen savers you like. Windows will then choose one of these
  95. preferred modules at random whenever it is time to screen save. 
  96. Obviously, this utility is only of use to registered users, and is 
  97. really neat, as you can pick and choose any or all the savers you have
  98. on your system, even those from other vendors (as long as they follow the 
  99. standard Windows SCR saver format; e.g. Roaches, or Cows). The best place
  100. to put ANIMAZE.EXE is also your Windows directory.

  103. TO SHARE OR NOT TO SHARE
  104.  
  105. The Animazing modules are shareware; you may distribute them as and
  106. how you see fit (although you may not make a charge for them, and you
  107. must include this file). Your personalised ID code may NOT be distributed 
  108. under ANY circumstances.

  111. FUTURE MODULES
  112.  
  113. If you have any ideas for particularly gruesome / off the wall savers,
  114. feel free to mail us with your ideas at 100413,3204 Compuserve.

  117. As these graphical savers are pretty heavy on system resources, it is
  118. a good idea to download a few and make sure that your PC configuration 
  119. can deal with them. Our recommended minimum system is at least a
  120. 386DX with 4 Mb RAM (really the bare minimum needed to run Windows 3.1
  121. effectively). If an Animazing module refuses to run, try closing down 
  122. one or more applications to free up resources, and try again.

  129. You may not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the software.

  132. LIMITED WARRANTY

  134. The software comprising 'Animazing Screen Saver Collection' and all related
  135. documentation are provided 'AS IS'. Animazing disclaims all other warranties, 
  136. either express or implied, including (but not limited to) implied warranties
  137. of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, with respect to the
  138. software and the accompanying documentation.

  140. In no event shall Animazing or its suppliers accept liability for any damages
  141. whatsoever (including damages for loss of business profits, business 
  142. interruption, loss of information, or other pecuniary loss) arising out of 
  143. the use of or inability to use the software.

  145. Whilst Animazing have taken every precaution to ensure that the software
  146. and accompanying documentation are free from defects, the Company's entire
  147. liability and your exclusive remedy shall be replacement of the software 
  148. that does not meet this limited warranty if such is returned to the Company 
  149. with a copy of your receipt. This limited warranty is void if failure of 
  150. the software has resulted from accident, deliberate mis-use or malicious 
  151. activity by a third party.
